Creating a beautiful table has become therapeutic for me. Some of my favourite tablescapes over the years have been my Christmas Tablescapes such as this Vintage Inspire Tablescape and last years Scandinavian Winter Tablescape.
The past few years have felt quiet and different as we’ve gone through this pandemic. Gatherings are different, friendships have changed, some growing stronger and others growing apart. One constant for me has been home and the feeling of comfort that it brings to me.
A tablescape is more than plates and cutlery and decor pieces. A tablescape is a reminder of my roots, a feeling of gratitude for those that will gather around it and a reflection of who I am created to be. As I lean into the creative process I learn about myself.
I’m excited to share some big changes in 2022. Something that has been percolating for some time and something that I believe will tie together my passions. I can’t wait to share it with you. Until then…another tablescape.

This inspiration for this tablescape started with these LinenMe napkins. I fell in love the the cute brick & beige check pattern and it became the starting point for this Christmas Tablescape.
The next addition to this Christmas Tablescape was my first try at air dry clay. I had an idea to create personalized place settings and I think they turned out pretty darn cute! This is the air dry clay I used and here is the little stamps ordered off Amazon.
Then I used my new found velvet ribbon from Anastasia Marie shop on Etsy. Her ribbons are so good and she has a great selection!

My next find for this Christmas Tablescape were handmade wooden trees from Atelier La Louve. These really pull in the Nordic touch that always brings me back to my Norwegian roots.
