You all know how much I love entertaining. I also love creating a beautiful tablescape where I can host my guests and enjoy slow moments with those I love.

I was so excited to work with Wayfair on their Outdoor Oasis project. Creating a beautiful outdoor tablescape was the perfect fit for this campaign. Here are all the details of our Outdoor Oasis

Table

This was the key element of our outdoor tablescape and the item that I didn’t have already on hand. I was so excited to work with Wayfair as I knew their great selection would make it easy to find the perfect table.

Searching their site, it was easy to find a variety of options and to be honest I had a ton of favourites. Ultimately I went with the 60″ Acacia Wood Chevron Dining Table in white. I love the chevron detailing and knew I wanted a fresh white table. The quality is incredible and it was so easy to assemble.

Chairs

Every project needs an element of DIY am I right? For this outdoor tablescape, the chairs and bench were the DIY element and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ll know that my husband built this white farmhouse bench for me at Christmas. It was part of my front porch Christmas decor. I knew the bench would go perfect with the Acacia Wood Chevron Dining Table. The added touch of my pom pom throw give this outdoor tablescape a whimsical feel.

In addition to the bench I needed at least 4 chairs. I wanted to stay within my budget and having to purchase chairs was going to cost me between $300-$500.

We recently completed a decor refresh at our family owned coffee shop – The Mill Coffee – and with this refresh we had changed out our dining chairs. We had about 20 black metal chairs that were no longer in use so I decided to DIY 4 of them and paint them white! I cleaned them off, gave them a light sand. Then I spray painted them with the Rustoleum Primer and Paint (I used white satin finish which gives the chairs a matte look….I’m obssessed!)

Details

As with every tablescape I create, the finishing details are what really bring the creative vision to life. With a the beautiful white chevron detailing in the table, I opted to go without a table cloth for this outdoor tablescape.

I went with wicker round chargers, green linen napkins, and a variety of glassware, plates, and dishes. A few potted annuals made this beautiful tablescape complete. I was blessed to have the opportunity to create this outdoor tablescape on Mothers Day and eat dinner with my kiddos. The perfect Mothers Day treat for me.
