One of my favourite parts of Christmas gift giving is the wrapping. I don’t know about you but receiving a gift feels extra special when it been wrapped beautifully. I’ve always loved this part of the Christmas gift giving process and this year (since its 2020 and all) I decided to add some extra “decorations” too each gift. The gifts themselves are special but for me, adding these special touches brings out the spirit of Christmas
Maybe Christmas (he thought) doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more – The Grinch
Start with some cute double sided wrap or even brown or white craft paper.
I love having a pretty basic wrap or craft paper as it leaves room for creativity. I found really cute wrapping paper from Winner/Homesense that had a simple pattern on one side and plain brown craft paper on the opposite.
A fun wrap trick
I learned a new wrapping technique this year that adds a cute pocket at the top of your gift. Perfect for adding a card or gift tag inside.
Its simple! before you start wrapping it all up, do a fold on the wrap. Check out my Instagram Reel here where I show exactly how its done:)

Get Creative
This is the fun part! I went to my craft basket and pulled out a variety of string, wooden figures, and grabbed some natural elements such as pinecones, fresh greens and more. I poured a hot cocoa, put on the Christmas tunes and put on my crafty elf hat! There are no rules here. Have fun!

I hope you have SO MUCH FUN creating some extra special gifts this year! Be sure to tag me if you post them! I love seeing your creative projects!
