The name says it all.  Flowers and Wine were the show stoppers at this beautifully designed Galentines Lunch.  The Friendship, Community and Conversation were the piece de resistance!

I feel so honoured to have been invited to attend this absolutely stunning gathering of women.  Our beautiful host, Jas, has a gift and truly made us women feel like queens for the day.  She also spared no details in creating this intimate Galentines Lunch.

Florals

The Flowers by Bezaire Event and Floral Design were absolutely beautiful.  Soft pastels complimented by greens and displayed in the most uniquely stunning way.

Tablescape

I’m a fan of Tablescapes, that is no secret.  On a beautiful rich wooden table with the most beautiful cross back chairs, this Tablescape was draped with beautiful linens, flatware and dishes.  The colour scheme was blush, rust, cream, and accented with floral.  It was eye candy in every way!

And the Individual Place Setting was so thoughtful and personalized

Food and Wine

Sandhill Wines so generously sponsored this event and ensured that the red and white were flowing.  We enjoyed White with our meal and Red with our dessert.  We even received a special bottle to take home.  What a Treat!  Thank you Sandhill Wines!

The 3 course lunch prepared by our lovely host, Jas, was the caliber of what you’d expect in a fancy restaurant.  The menu included soup, roasted chicken with veg, and the most delectable chocolate mousse for dessert.  Lets just say, my taste buds were happy!

Galentines and Giggles

This group of Gals were SO MUCH FUN to hang with for the afternoon.  Coming from all different walks of life, ages, and stages didn’t matter in the least bit!  We chatted about deep subjects, funny motherhood moments, and even got a bit vulnerable with each other while playing a “new to me” game called “The And”.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.  Women need community, Women need connection, Motherhood is hard and often leaves us feeling isolated and lacking true connection.  It doesn’t matter where you find connection, just do it!  Be bold, send the invite, make it fancy or keep it totally low key and chill.  A yoga pant coffee date is just as needed as a fancy Galentine Lunch.  Don’t let excuses get in the way.  This is my encouragement to you!
