You all know that I LOVE a seasonal Tablescape! Check out my Christmas Tablescape here I was so excited to put together this Valentines Tablescape and funny enough, I found my little pieces of inspiration while we were away in Maui. We were shopping at Target just before coming home and I spotted a few adorable items in the Hearth and Hand from Magnolia section of the store. Then, I found a few more cute additions in the dollar section and before I knew it, I was hauling home my Valentines Tablescape with me on the plane.
As with all of my Seasonal Tablescapes, it usually starts with one item or set of colour tones and from there is easy to pull it all together. For this Valentines Tablescape, I’ve used corals, sage green, some pops of gold and then a few other natural elements.
Place Settings
For this Valentines place setting, I used my wicker rounds as a base. Then, I used my square white dishes and placed the beautiful cloth napkins that I had found in the Hearth and Hand by Magnolia Department at Target. I decided to lay them horizontally between the plates for a unique texture.
Also at Target, I had found little Valentines themed scrabble type sets. When put together, the chips spell “Happy Valentines Day”. I split the chips between each plate and thought it could be a fun conversation piece and activity to do around a meal.
I also found little Valentines themed clothespins with a little piece of paper to write a note or use as a name card.
To finish off each place setting, I added a little spring of eucalyptus for some added color and natural touch.
Table Decor
For the table decor, I started with a beautiful runner, also found in the Hearth and Hand by Magnolia department of Target. I love the tones of coral, black, gold and white.
Then, I added some wooden beads, a felt garland that a dear friend made, my favourite cookbook, and a little cake stand where I placed a few more of the scrabble tiles and a wooden heart to tie it all together.
I just love how this turned out and can’t wait to have some yummy Valentines treats around this table with some of my Galentines and my Kiddos and Hubby.
