This post contains the details of our Master Bedroom Refresh and was sponsored by Bed, Bath, and Beyond Canada. We only take on partnerships that suit our style. All opinions are our own.
A Seasonal Master Bedroom Refresh has become one of my favourite decorating projects. Its an easy way to bring a fresh vibe to a space which for me always gives me new perspective and love for my home.
I’m so excited to partner with Bed Bath and Beyond Canada on this Winter Master Bedroom Refresh. The online shopping experience with Bed Bath and Beyond is seamless with easy shipping and quick delivery. I was very pleased with the selection and the entire process.
Bedding
West Coast winters are wet and often quite dreary. We get plenty of rainy days that can often make our homes feel dark and kind of gloomy. For this Winter Master Bedroom Refresh I wanted to make sure I brought in lots of bright whites to counteract the moody blues of our rainy weather.
For a base I started with the Milano Collection Royal Linen Duvet Cover in bright white. Here’s a *Pro Tip: You can have more than one duvet;) . We have 2 duvets simply because my hubby is a hot sleeper and I’m always cold. I also love how multiple duvets give extra dimension and texture. Plus its just so so cozy!
Pair your Duvet or Duvets with a crisp sheets set and a cozy coverlet for lots of variety!
Texture
Once you’ve got your base all set up, I love adding lots of texture. Texture adds dimension and gives all the cozy vibes that winter calls for! Texture can be found in throw pillows, blankets, and accessories.
I was thrilled to find an assortment of throw pillows from the Magnolia Home Collection at Bed Bath and Beyond. Joanna Gaines always has the best style so I’m not surprised that this added the perfect touch! I went with 2 of the Renee Square Throw Pillows in Ivory, the Jana Oblong Throw Pillow and the Alena Square Throw Pillow. I’m in love with each of these styles but there are a ton more to choose from online at Bed Bath and Beyond Canada
Blankets
You can achieve further levels of warmth with blankets. Also from the Magnolia Home Collection, I layered this cozy blanket for an added level of cozy appeal. Furthermore adding the texture of a basket or a tray is a great way to invite you in. Throw some extra pillows or blankets in a basket at the end of the bed as another invitation to your cozy space.
Instead of fighting against the winter blues, I encourage you to lean into the cozy appeal of this season. For all your cozy bedroom refreshes, Bed Bath and Beyond is your one stop shop!
